Failed Pin Test
I tried this pin wherein you put your matches inside a mason jar and put sandpaper on top of the lid of the jar. Me and my bf tried different kinds of sandpaper but each one never ignited the match stick. To be honest, my bf told me it wouldn't work but I insisted since I saw all the comments in the blog and most of them were saying how it worked out well for them. I went as far as leaving a question in the comment field earlier but couldn't wait that long for the reply. So I decided to research online. I've just realized that most of them mentioned strike anywhere matches. We don't have that kind of match here wherein you can use any rough surface to ignite the match stick. We still use the old variety that uses phosphorus. You see, I'm not from the US. My research sort of scared me about the dangers of phosphorus but I have no idea of an alternative. Maybe researching more would yield more results.
This also brought new questions in my head. This one didn't work. How about the other pins that says use this kind of soap to make your very own liquid hand soap. I see this pin that said to use the brand Meyer and I'm not really sure if Meyer is available here. Even if it is available, wouldn't it be a little more expensive since it is imported? Would safeguard be an alternative? Would it require a different measurement for the ingredients?
Anyway, it will sure be fun finding it out. As soon as I get well though :) While I'm waiting for that take a look at this.

Sicky is Sucky
I've been sick since Tuesday. Very bad headache with clogged nose with scratchy throat and a fever. It's been a while but I'm optimistic it's going to be gone soon :)

What To Do With Your Leftover Plastic Strings
When I go buy big items from the public market, they usually wrap plastic strings around the item to make it easier to carry. When I get home, I am left with this:
I hate being wasteful and could not throw it away but I couldn't keep it just the way it is. The idea hit me while I was drinking from a plastic bottle. Use the plastic bottle!
Patience would be needed in this step as you have to put the end of the string first and then work your way to the other end. Don't attempt to roll it up in a bunch and insert it in the bottle that way or you would have difficulty taking it out from the bottle when you decide to use it. Trust me, the strings will get all tangled up.
When you get all the strings inside the bottle, make sure that you have one end sticking out. It will be easier to pull the string out when you use it in the future. Put the cap back on and there you have it. Messy plastic strings in its own plastic container.
By the way, I only recommend doing this for the leftover strings. Longer strings are harder to put inside a plastic bottle. Hope this helps!

How to keep your ribbon from unrolling
This is what it looks like when your ribbon unrolls by itself.
To keep it from doing that, all you need is a rubber band. I have a handful of these as my boyfriend brings home a lot of it. I don't know where he gets it but I don't mind.
Now, all you need to do is put the rubber band around the ribbon this way and you'll never have a problem with a messy ribbon.
Some people would use a diaper pin or a pin and even put scotch tape at the end of the ribbon but I prefer it this way. Not only is it easy, it's also prick free for my fingers. Hope this helps.

How I Stopped My Cyber Bully
Ignore them in your messenger, block them in your social media, report them as spam in your email. Chances are they don't even know you if they only attack you online. During my MIRC years (yes I'm that old) I've had a dose of that and I did the above and so far I've never heard from them again.

My L22
I don't know what my future would be like but I'm seriously hoping it would be a good one. And this will be an important tool for my blog.
This digicam has a story on its own but I don't think this would be the best time to share it. Someday though.

What is the meaning of Samut Sari?
Hi. This is my first post and I have no idea what I'm supposed to say or do with this website. This is why I've thought of starting with the meaning of Samut sari. It means miscellaneous. It took some time for me to think of a name for my blogspot and since I have no idea what I'm going to do with this space, samut sari seemed to be a perfect fit. I've decided that my blogspot will not have a specific purpose. It will grow along with me. Maybe by then, it will find its own purpose.
